March 2024 – The MMR Catch-Up Vaccination Program is starting. MMR is usually given at 12 months with the usual childhood vaccinations, and the 2nd dose given in schools in Junior Infants.
Any child up to Junior Infants who has not had a dose of MMR can have that dose now with their GP. Anyone older than Junior Infants who is not sure whether they have had either or both doses of MMR is also eligible. Those born before 1978 are considered to be immune as they probably contacted measles as children and are not eligible. Please email or call the if you wish to arrange MMR vaccination.
Free GP visits have been extended to all children aged 6 and 7 years. It is important that you register your child for this. It can be done very easily online – visit the HSE website.
Anyone who has tested positive for Covid should contact us by phone or email, do not come to the door. For older people and those at high risk there is a treatment available which can be prescribed over the phone.
